{"id":100,"date":"2013-09-13T15:13:14","date_gmt":"2013-09-13T15:13:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/minneapolisdesigner.com\/snowmobilend.org\/?page_id=100"},"modified":"2018-02-16T15:15:53","modified_gmt":"2018-02-16T15:15:53","slug":"our-partners","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.snowmobilend.org\/our-partners\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Partners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our partners in outdoor recreation, working together to make North Dakota a great place to ride.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/parkrec.nd.gov\/\">North Dakota Parks and Recreation<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-369\" src=\"http:\/\/www.snowmobilend.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/partner_parkrec1.png\" alt=\"North Dakota Parks and Rec Logo\" width=\"200\" height=\"168\" \/>The North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department contracts the Snowmobile North Dakota Trail Program to manage the state snowmobile program under the general administration and direction of the Department.\u00a0 The Recreation Division team made up of staff from both organizations works hard to bring the best in motorized recreation to the state.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the department<\/strong><br \/>\nThe North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department is the state agency charged with administering selected parks and recreation areas that are deemed to have state-wide or regional significance.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the department has responsibility for the following functions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Off-highway vehicle planning and safety program<\/li>\n<li>Snowmobile safety programs and trails<\/li>\n<li>Nature Preserves Act<\/li>\n<li>Outdoor recreation grants and statewide recreation planning<\/li>\n<li>State Scenic Byways Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"divider\"><\/div>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.keep-nd-clean.org\/\">Keep North Dakota Clean<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-365\" src=\"http:\/\/www.snowmobilend.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/partner_clean.jpg\" alt=\"Keep North Dakota Clean\" width=\"150\" height=\"198\" \/>Snowmobile North Dakota partnered with Keep ND Clean (KNDC) in 2009 to promote \u201cGreener\u201d snowmobile trails!\u00a0 The partnership promoted to \u201cIf you, Pack it in\u2026 Pack it Out\u201d, by placing trail signs across the state on the snowmobile trails.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is KNDC?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 1968 KNDC Inc. was formed to ensure a continuous statewide program of education for beautification of the state and the proper disposal of litter. KNDC believes education is the key to any successful program. When people are informed, they are more apt to think before they throw. And to be truly effective, the education process needs to begin early.
